Hailing from Tokyo, maidable started his musical journey in high school as a drummer. Soon after he fell in love with the sounds of the UK underground and started making beats. Combining elements of jungle, halftime, and footwork, his music is marked by organic breakbeats, prominent synths, ninja drum edits, & evolving melodic soul. This jungle soldier has released on Rubik Records, Living, AlphaVersion, Subdued...and now helps further define the sound of Mettāsonic drum and bass.

This release is also a tribute to Good Looking Records, in particular the Earth album, which was our introduction to DNB. And this music reminds us of that.
