2992475, Best Wu affiliate on the mic (w/favorite track)

Counting everything as a total package (lyricism, flow, concepts, album making, wordplay, beat selection, consistency)

My pick:

LA THE DARKMAN

This dude has been putting in work for over 20 years and hasn't lost a step. I also think he's the most versatile as far as what he's able to do-he can work with anybody and not sound out of the mix or awkward.

Favorite track-Wu World Order (feat. RZA) from the Wu Tang: Shaolin Style video game

2992479, Trife Diesel Aka Trife Da God
Posted by Dj Joey Joe, Thu Jun-29-17 08:34 PM
To me Trife is one the best Wu-Tang affiliates, it's others like Shabazz The Disciple, Shyhiem, Streetlife, Beretta 9 of Killarmy, Myalansky and Joe Disciple of Wu-Syndicate, and also Iron Mic from Ruthless Bastards, etc. but to me Trife Diesel of Theodore Unit seems to be the one who can hold his own and do justice when he guest appears on another's song especially with Ghostface.

"Punch In, Punch Out": https://youtu.be/bZZivDOCjQQ

I could've picked a lot of songs he's on with others but I wanted to pick one by himself.

2992584, yup, Trife.

i remember copping that album Put it On the Line w/Trife & Ghost. been ages since i heard it, gonna have to dig it up on spotify. I remember playing for a few weeks straight and liking it. Might be because they include The Sun at the end which is damn near perfect
2992480, I have a few different answers

Nicest on the mic = Killa Sin

Best track record of albums = Killah Priest

Favorite song = Where Wuz Heaven - Wu-Syndicate (Mylansky)

Favorite album = Heist of the Century - La the Darkman
2992481, I always think of Priest as a Wu member in my head

for some reason, maybe because he was all over Liquid Swords and I played that album to death for like 2 years straight, so I never even thought of him when making this post.

But for shits, my favorite KP verse not on his first album is on Secret Rivals, Masta Killa and Meth come with it too.

2992519, Completely agree on Killah Sin

It's not close. I remember seeing the swinging swords video like "who's this broke Ghostface sitting at the bar?". Nah, I see now he is a whole different animal and a verified beast on the mic. Here's a link to Strawberry for my cosign.
