This record is incredible. The majority of it was recorded live at the Village Vanguard. Cecile is one of the best jazz vocalists around today and this is her best album to date and one of the best albums of the year IMO. Anyone who enjoys people like Sarah Vaughn, Ella, Bessie Smith etc NEED to check this out.
