2973938, Blood Sugar Sex Magik vs Nevermind
Posted by Nick Has a Problem...Seriously, Wed Dec-31-69 07:00 PM
Both released on September 24, 1991 and celebrated their 25th anniversaries yesterday. Both got tons of radio/video play during that year. Which is the better album? Have either of the albums aged well in your opinion? Do we agree that the Chili Peppers had the better musicians while Kurt was a better front man than Anthony? Speak on it.

2974011, Can't really say Chilli Peppers are better musicians

Ghrol is a better drummer IMO
Kurt came up with very catchy guitar parts
Flea is the better bassist but Krist is pretty good.
2974020, frusciante's the best musician of the lot, by a good degree.

just talking as an instrumentalist.
2974019, If "soul to squeeze" was on it, I would've bought BSSM and I probably

would've liked it a lot (I didn't like "under the bridge" so I didn't buy it - but I liked a some of the other songs that I heard on it).

As far as Nevermind is concerned, it was a pretty big achievement that I bought and heard a lot, so even though I can't say the same about BSSM, I still kind of recognize that RHCP kinda did do something major, though I didn't buy it or hear the whole thing.

So it says something that I can't really say it's an overwhelming win for Nevermind, even though I probably should since I didn't buy BSSM or hear the whole thing of BSSM.
2974050, Both albums mean a lot to me so I'm not choosing
