2969699, Jaylib Bootlegs

I've been going through some old stuff on a hard drive and found two Jaylib bootlegs: Jay Dee & Madlib Are Jaylib and Jaylib Outtakes. I've been looking around for info on these but there seems to be some disagreement about the origins.

I posted the tracklists of the ones that I have below.

So "...Are Jaylib" is just something that Madlib threw together and ended up evolving into the album but what's the story with "Outtakes?" I keep seeing references to the fact that it's fake. So what is it?

"outtakes" was just Madlib and crew rappin over random Dilla beats and some random Madlib beats from his vault...

Story was that Dilla heard Madlib on the Dilla beats and then said, lets do an album, so outtakes is what spawned Jaylib.

2969750, I remember rocking this before Champion Sound dropped.

Loved it.
Kinda all over the place.
Some of the interludes were extended.
Or not used (Bill Clinton).
Or some of the samples (scooby doo).
But based on this you can hear how they were shaping Champion Sound (which was better).
2969848, the Madvillain and Jaylib demos are what i still listen to today...
