but I'm not surprised -- I think I generally have a soft spot for Hamilton and know what I'm expecting, which is usually just a good set of tunes that make for great weekend around-the-house music or cruising in the car music, and in that respect it hits the mark pretty well. The production and mix are kind of flat and thin, so a number of tunes that you expect to take off never seem to.

All that said, I almost didn't include it on the list when I was typing --- bc it's not a great *album* by any means, but it is a very listenable collection of tunes that I've kept going back to on lazy days. It's not something I sit down and listen to dedicatedly, though...

Best tune is probably the last one on the album: "Love is an Angry Thing" which might have been a single, as it apparently has a video: https://youtu.be/8GWa68GYYX0

I also really like "Save Me," the album's title track, "Grateful," "Walking in My Shoes" and "Amen."
