2956599, New Lianne La Havas song ("Fairytale") and EP ('Blood Solo') Posted by aScribe, Wed Feb-10-16 12:58 PM So Lianne's about to wrap up a US acoustic solo tour, and on Feb 12 will release 'Blood Solo,' an EP of (presumably) acoustic versions of previously released songs and a new track, "Fairytale." When so many modern acts rely on dancers, pyro, etc. (not that I'm against any of that), it was incredible to see a performer so confident in melody alone to sell the delivery. And sold it she did...though it helps to have great material. And I know she's not the only act who can do that, but this post/thread is about her, lol. When she debuted "Fairytale" at the show...man, that melody was everything. FYI, when she performed it she mentioned it was dedicated to her baby cousin.

I just moved from the bay so I missed the solo performances this week, but I bought my sister tix for the Oakland show... She said it was amazing... I might have flown down there for it had I realized it was a solo set... Might go to the Berkeley show in September... I've seen her live 3 times and met her after each show... sooo...we're pretty much dating now
