It Feels Good, It Never Rains in California, and many more cuts.

Glad that Raphael Saddiq is still making music, although in a better world he would be more relevant.

I'm sure they could reunite for festivals and still kill it. But I don't know if hard feelings were behind their breakup.
2924475, I still play their stuff

I dug their stuff but when they came out with sons of soul they really caught my attention, I love Raphael's solo stuff and Dwayne is talented also strange fruit was underrated. http://youtu.be/0GIFY7NI-OI but I think their best moments were together

Wild chil was my sht. http://youtu.be/q6VSNaHpDao

I also loved Revival and House of Music.

They were definitely my favorite r&b group of their era. Better than Mint Condition. Better than Boyz II Men. Better than Jodeci. Better than any of the clones who came later.

They'd have been screwed by the outcome of the Blurred Lines case, though.

Yeah based on that case they definitely owe al green some money, lol, among others
2924951, te only thing that hurts them is that they broke up
Posted by mistermaxxx08, Mon Mar-23-15 09:42 PM
right when they hit there peak and prime.

and we didn't get to see them go on and what it would have lead to.
2924957, all their albums were tight...House of music is probably my

favorite though.... it was crazy because they didn't really record that one together..it was recorded with them separately...but songwise...to me from top to bottom...

Wild Child...

2925261, "sons of soul" needs to be recognized as a GOAT album
Posted by cbk, Thu Mar-26-15 12:08 PM
the music was dope AND they kept everyone happy with that one.

"house of music" was great and definitely 100% in our okp lane, but "sons" was just a MONSTER.

2925776, Sons of Soul and House of Music are 2 of my favorite albums, period

Incredible albums. The Revival isn't far behind either, that's a very good album with some of their best songs.
