shit was anti- everything else in his catalogue. and that means it stuck out, in good, refreshing way.

it's not filled with skits or have songs with different epic movements like CD, LR, or MBDTF.

though it's tight in terms of song length and album length, it's defintely not aiming to please in a pop sense like GRADUATION. or even 808s.

and i really dig the minimalist electro arrangements, esp on songs like "send it up" and "on sight."

i said this before, but i didn't really GET get YEEZUS until i went to a show (cold cave) and the pre-show dj's spun pretty much the entire album between the three of them. shit just knocked HARD, and the hooks (that weren't neccessarily choruses) stayed with you when it was played loud.

regretting that i didn't catch the yeezus tour when it came through the bay.
