Both artists have lost touch. It's sad.

I had similar experiences with both. Didn't ever truly consider they were bootlegs but as I listened to both Yeezus and Magna Carta I had the same "WTF" thoughts. I didn't like My Beautiful Dark... all that much but I wasn't cringing as I listened to it.

Kanye's raps were never very good but at this point he's rapping like a 16 year old. Just blatant misogyny and immaturity. But in the past at least the beats outshone the lyrics. Now both suck. And Jay is just a caricature of himself. Trying so hard to be this yuppie clown. Who can possibly relate to him anymore.
