Diana told Mary and Cindy to sing/stand behind her and they didn't agree so everytime Diana would move, they'd move closer lol


also, it's been said Diana had been downing glasses of champagne when she was in her seat during the show


Here's two things about the show

1. Everyone thought the showstealer would be the Supremes' reunion. Most of the higher ups didn't even think MJ and The Jacksons would be the highlight of the night. They also didn't think the show would do well in the ratings due to it being more R&B focused

2. Nobody but a select few knew that Michael was performing Billie Jean
