Everything clicks
"Down Rodeo" is stunning - that song particularly overwhelms me
"Bulls on parade" is the recognized front runner like Nirvana's "Smells like teen spirit" only "Bulls on parade" aged extremely well
"People of the sun" was so good that it built Limp Bizkit's career...for, if you didn't know, "Nookie" is a straight rip of "people of the sun"
That would be enough to solidify that "Evil Empire" is a classic. But........the fact that the band and the production CLICK SO HARD...that is the real. Let's look at the facts: Nirvana is a great band, but on "Nevermind" and "In Utero" Nirvana never really clicks. They "pull off" some tunes better than others....but on neither album Nirvana don't make the listener say that Nirvana is hitting the "CORE" (maybe on "Drain you" and several songs on "Incesticide" and a few b sides like "Curmudgeon" and "Even in his youth").
On "Evil Empire" RATM hit it SO HARD with the right production that it knocks over most of the 90's stuff.
