Just recopped from ITunes. Nobody brought the funk to hip hop like this. Criminally underrated.

The definitive pimp rap song

Whole album is crazy. D.U. at their creative peak.

...that the majority of songs from "Sons Of The P." were created/recorded before and around the same time as the music from "Sex Packets" but Tommy Boy Records liked "Humpty Dance" and "Doowutchayalike" more and told them to make more songs around that vibe instead.

Infact I think I heard this from an old syndicated radio show titled Greg Mack's "Hip-Hop Countdown & Report".

2883732, I cant never get enough of the title album track.

From the intro that gets you pumped up, to the ending with young 2Pac saying "I will create" "I will create"
2883753, D.U. as a whole is Criminally Underrated.

definitely. Shock G is underrated when it comes to concept themed music that's both conscious and fun, which is a hard combo to juggle.

I also loved how we wove keyboards and new instrumentation into the pfunk samples. DU is so slept on when it comes to their contribution to the funk.
