Yea I mean I knew it would reach it'd goal. Exceeding it definitely wasn't planned but a testament to Neil and Kickstarter model.

Obviously not a mass market item but I think that it's kinda cool that things can be funded on a small level for niche groups. Certain items wouldn't exist (Pebble Watch, Veronica Mars Movie) otherwise.

I just don't like it when think pieces about "saving the industry" or the "next big thing" exist because none of these items are going to move the needle in any big way.
