Where is the evidence of Drake's envy of Kendrick? What does he have to be envious about? He's more successful commercially and just as acclaimed critically. He is well respected in the eyes of the public, critic and his peers.

I think GKMC is better than NWTS or any of Drake's albums, but Drake has a solid body of work as well. Drake's commercial success makes it easier for an artist like Kendrick (also very cerebral and self aware) to pop commercially. Not to mention Drake being on one of Kendrick's highest topping singles...

Drake came up acting, as we all know, but he has paid his dues. He came up in the Houston rap scene and is tied to one of rap's longest tenured crews. And in 2014, is rap even still street anymore? Regardless, what does he have to be envious about?
