is the last album I can think of that really had that "wall of sound" sampling. They supposedly used 3,200 samples on that album.



And no it's not a strictly hip-hop album but it has a ton of hip-hop influences and sounds on it (and directly samples hip-hop songs) and it's an extremely dope album.
