thanksgiving week is next week. i have a few days off &about to go on one of those music binge recording sessions.

over the years i've been on these boards (damn near 10?), i've opened almost every project up for the lesson to contribute.

last year i dropped the hennessy for breakfast project. 90% of the recordings featured on that project were produced , written , and recorded in 5 or 6 total days.. including the cd artwork design, etc.

looking back on that one--- there were definitely too many songs... but it was dope to me because there was other people featured on the joint. if you picked the best 15 songs out of the 28 songs that was on there--- to me-- it was a solid ass piece of material.


so here it goes again; one year later.

= if you make beats, i will rap on that sht if i'm feeling the joint. post your Coldest $hit. i will list ur name as the producer on the artwork for the cd.

= if you rap, i'm going to post a couple of beats here for you to choose from. if you can fuck with the beat, record your verse, and link up your MP3 w/ vocals. i will put u on the project & list ur name as the artist on the vocals.

= if you just like music , but don't record shit, i still want u to be down. if you know a dope old school song that you think somebody should sample & flip... post up a link to the track & i'll see if i can freak it. if u have a concept for subject matter that u think would be cool for a song-- post your idea. maybe i can try to write a verse for that concept.


still would be dope if a couple of the lesson OGs came thru on a verse or a beat for one of these projects. pooh or 9th or the big moke or exile or blu, or... u never know.

I finished the track. I kept your original title. This beat is kinda trippy and that's right up my alley. It reminded me a little bit of an Animal Collective song i sampled ("Wide Eyed").
