forming a whole separate sub genre of sorts of 'their own' style of what they call hip-hop.
Man i tired to give all that shit a honest listen..and I could NOT fuck with it at all..Im SO glad all that didnt stick.
I liked Aesop Rock in doses, but it seems like he started going more and more AWAY from that sub culture. El-P seemed to as well even though he's kind of the Godfather of that style, but it seem like he realized how asshole-ish that scene was and moved on too.
If I remember right didn't Murs put a nail in the coffin in that genre too with a song?
