people, especially Hip Hop heads and Lesson heads, is "WHAT THE FUCK?????" but when you really look at it with ZERO bias...(and if you don't count the Gettin Jiggy/Miami/Switch phase)....it's really not a huge difference.

I would even argue that Will's "corny" = more personality than LP.

LP being a producer automatically elevates his name to us, to where we might still give him more props as a rapper because of this, if that makes sense.

You can actually argue it either way. In Will's case, you can say that he was better in his lane (silly, partying, Kid n Play, Ahmad, Skee-Lo) than Large Pro was in his lane. Or...you can say that Large Pro's lane required more skill, and wasn't as lame/wack/for the kids.
