just that quite a few artists that came up in the scene went pop/edm, though now some are kinda coming back to their grime roots. plus with afrobeats coming to be more dominant in the uk (well, london) club scene over the last few years & a lot of grime raves getting shut down, it's like grime didn't have as many places to get the music out there or something. but it was still going is now having a bit of a resurgence.

it's true, grime is best listened to in a black tinted out VW golf lol. and honestly...i aint really interested in hearing most US rappers on grime beats.
