2776434, Lessonheads, please confirm my opinion on something

So, I don't know what the hell just happened to me.. but it seems that Kool Keith has somehow crept into my top emcee spot... TOP EMCEE of all time that is.. now, I know that asking you to confirm this obvious truth would be to much, but humor me:

Kool Keith's flow > any rapper out today's flow, including Jay Z.

Agree or disagree?

I don't see ANYONE touching Kool Keith in that regard. Am I mistaken?

2776507, I'm pretty much mostly speaking of Dr Octagon
Posted by Kirk Baker, Fri Feb-08-13 02:25 AM
and the showing therein. I think it has the best flows in Hip Hop. That's just my opinion.
2776472, lol @ 'including Jay Z'

Posted by DolphinTeef, Thu Feb-07-13 11:10 PM
Rakim or Em woulda inspired more mad than Jay-Z however the effectiveness is diminished regardless because you are you.

2776509, You just agreed with me in gd on this topic, haha

Why is this such a ridiculous opinion? Have you heard Kool Keith on Dr Octagon? this album is ancient in comparison to music today and yet the flow is still years ahead.. you can even hear jay z hoping for that flow.. Kool Keith is king and I'll make it my last hip hop crusade to make it known.
2776575, you are right...it's too wrong to be a troll attempt
Posted by DolphinTeef, Fri Feb-08-13 01:28 PM
yea i heard Kool Keith but naw man...just naw
2776634, it took me a 100 spins or so
Posted by Kirk Baker, Fri Feb-08-13 05:12 PM
for dr octagon to truly sink in.. and the flow i hear on that album is better than any flow ive ever heard. shrug.

Pretty sure Sir Menelik's flow was the tighter, more jaw-dropping flow of the emcees on that very same album..
2776545, Am I one of the few who couldn't get into Dr. Octagon?
Posted by Oak27, Fri Feb-08-13 11:35 AM
I thought the rapping was painfully bad... I'm also not into that Deltron album. I think I'll just stay away from that uber-alternative-indie spectrum of hip hop. I must just not "get" it

No... you are not alone. Never liked the anti math flow over hard beats. White kids loved that shit though...
2776721, Uuuuummmmm No

As much as I'm a big fan of Kool Keith, from Ultramagnetic MC's, to Rhythm X., to Poppa Large, to being 1/2 of the Cenobites, to Dr. Octagon & Dr. Nogatco, to 1/2 of Ultra, to Dr.Dooom, to Black Elvis, to whatever he's going by these days, I could never say he was in my top ten greatest or favorite emcees or rappers but I'm one of those followers who hopes he goes back to his old style even though I know damn well he will never do so (he just doesn't care anymore, smh).

2776730, what type of drugs you on?
