2747277, Didn't even know DOOM had a new one out. Posted by cidolfas, Tue Oct-09-12 08:36 PM
This poll might determine whether or not I actually pick it up.

I voted for BLT, but Keys is a dope album in itself. Definitely check it out

2747461, K2TK has 0 replay value Posted by Small Pro, Wed Oct-10-12 12:06 PM
DOOM is ok on it but all the beats were't for him...JJ is dope tho

2747467, 'Absolutely' and the title track take Born Like This over the top Posted by Dr Claw, Wed Oct-10-12 12:15 PM
for some reason, I like that bellowing timpani/kettle drum going on in the latter of the aforementioned...
BOOM-BOOM... *Doom verse over a loop*

2747474, Born Like This got way more flak than it asked for Posted by Nodima, Wed Oct-10-12 12:25 PM
That album was really, really solid. Some of DOOM's best couplets, that super dope 7-track suite/concept medley about whack rappers that starts the album, "Absolutely", "Still Dope"...
Keys to the Kuffs was fun a moment, but it's not competing with Born Like This. No way.

2747478, BLT by a landslide, IMO... Posted by Dstl1, Wed Oct-10-12 12:29 PM
K2TK got played out hell fast. It had very little replay value.

2747482, Key to the Kuffs feels like an actual doom album. Posted by stone_phalanges, Wed Oct-10-12 12:45 PM
Born Like This feels like a mixtape.

2747755, I agree. After a couple spins last night, this is sick. Posted by cidolfas, Thu Oct-11-12 12:39 PM
Going to buy it soon.

2747565, BLT, although I think I found every Jake One beat on there meh Posted by Ishwip, Wed Oct-10-12 05:18 PM
Ok maybe not meh, they were solid, but basically I was waiting for the next DOOM, Dilla, or Madlib beat to come thru. I didn't like the Jake/DOOM pairing that much, but I prefer DOOMs raps on BLT more than those on KttK.
It's close. Both albums were a little disappointing to me initially, but they still hung around in rotation (or in the case of Kuffs are still in rotation).... __ I don't like the beat anymore because its just a loop. ALC didn't FLIP IT ENOUGH!
Flip it enough? Flip these. Flip off. Go flip some f*cking burgers.(c)Kno

2747608, BLTS by a landslide Posted by Adwhizz, Wed Oct-10-12 08:04 PM
The Gazzilionaire beat alone murks it.
