>Nah. Somewhere down the line, you're lying. Because as I
>pointed already, one minute he's Mr. Romantic
>with roses in his teeth, and the next, he's reducing women to
>pussy-trophies in order to down the next man
>based on his ability to attain said trophy.

Other rappers don't make romantic songs and misogynistic songs? Jay-Z didn't make "Excuse Me Miss" and "Big Pimpin"? Nas didn't make "You Owe Me" and "Getting Married"? What about Ross? What about Wayne? Do you feel the same way when these rappers make songs of different types? Rap in general is a contradictory genre.

>Also,
>The "you" in his rhymes is unclear, because he accuses "you"
>of being fake. Yet, who is he so much realer than?
>He's the emoest nigga of them all? wth? What nigga you know
>*trying* to look soft?
>Compare that to a cat like TI who often speaks to "you" in his
>rhymes. It's clear he's dissing "fake gangsters".

I think the "you" in rap is literally always ambiguous, lol. Maybe that's just me.

>His "I'm realer than you" is clear.
>Drake is hiding behind, "I never said I was hard" yet trying
>to talk shit with hard niggas. Then he
>(and his cosigners) wonder why these niggas ain't feelin' him.

IMO, that's natural. If people are talking shit about you, you talk back. When he's

> You can't play hard and then pull the softie card to hide
>your hands.
>He doesn't want to fully embrace that softie role he hides
>behind. He wants to talk shit with the "tough guys".
>"But oh I'm just tryna do my thing and make my music.. never
>said I was hard" etc.

Bruh, have you seen the cover of Take Care? lol that's embracing the softie role fully, if you ask me. He's emotional when it comes to women and his career, but he says he doesn't take shit from people. It's not that complicated, IMO.
