His flow during the "Whut" days was different from the "Dare" days. The "Dare" flows are different from the "How High/Muddy" days and so on and so on. For me, the "How High/Muddy" era was his pinnacle style. Nowadays, he raps more like the "Malpractice" era flow wise.

I am under the impression that he's gonna rock that "Muddy" era style for the sequel. As a matter of fact, I think he said he got some joints from that era that he was gonna release for the new project.
