Don't condescend. I'm not a part of any clique around here. I don't know any of these dudes, I don't even post here that often - my post count mostly comes from the length of time I've been here, not frequency of posting. I'm just a guy with my own opinions, same as you.

In 1996 I was 22 years old and listening to "The Score" - was about my fifth year of listening to hip hop seriously.

Which is exactly why I said not her. Do you really think Lauryn is Cheryl Miller's equivalent in hip hop? I don't, even though she's great in her own right.

That's not what this thread is about. It's about who did it better, not who did it first. To be honest with you if I was going to a desert island I'd rather have any of the first four OutKast albums over every Fugees album plus "Miseducation" (that being the only classic she was ever a part of).
