own at least 1 copy of the album. and wouldn't stop playing it back in 2004/2005.
as do at least 2 of my older aunties.
and my best friends in Chicago, NYC, SF and STL too (some of my best friends are Black).
and it was a hot topic in the barbershop back when it came out.
so, yeah. it's a classic.
