He isn't a culture vulture. He is someone from the culture, born and bred in it. If you grew up in Queens, specifically the flushing/corona/elmhurst/jackson heights area during the late 80s early 90s Action speaks very loudly to your own experience. The first time I heard and saw him, I literally had to look back into my memory banks and wonder if I knew him personally because he was that damn familiar. So it begs the question, is race the only factor of culture or only one of them? A son of Muslim father and Jewish mother growing up in the most diverse county in the world specifically during the time Queens was running rap with Nas, LL, Beatnuts, Kool G, Tribe etc etc. He is an example of what growing up knee deep in the culture is rather than a vulture of it.
