2910005, Guide: How to create a new "Post"
Posted by lookatwrist, Thu Nov-20-14 04:48 PM
starting a "post" is an integral part of the lesson and any message board.
if people don't start new "posts" (aka threads), the daily content of the forum moves slower and people are less inclined to return/participate.

here's how to start your very own "post":

step 1
---
login to your okayplayer account by clicking the "login" button in the left-hand side of the forum.
if you don't have an okayplayer account, you can create one by clicking "register" below the login button in the left hand side in the main lobby forum.
follow and complete the process using your email and then login.

step 2
---
click the "post" button which is located 5th in the top left-hand side of the forum.

step 3
---
conceive a "topic".
this is typically a question or sentiment you wish to express that is music-related and then type a brief synopsis of said question/sentiment in the subject line.
in the body section below the subject line, write down your thoughts/observations on the subject.

some posters desire to post polls (click the button right of "post" to start a "poll") post links to new music or "swipe" articles from other online sources and share them here.
these are also perfectly fine topics to make a "post" about.

tip: always consider if the topic you're wishing to discuss has been posted or discussed previously to ensure the highest quality of "post" is presented to the site's readers.

step 4
---
wait for someone else to interact with the "post" you created and engage any replies you receive as you deem fit.
this will create discourse regarding the subject you posted on.

if you have any questions about how to successfully accomplish any of the steps outlined in this process: please contact MISTAMONOTONE or mrhood75 and they will be more than happy to assist you step by step via email or the toll-free okayplayer tech support line.
