I think what Basa means is Larry watered down Prince's funk...And in that regard he has a point....That cover of "Everyday Is A Winding Road" is case in point....That song has JW Larry (who plays and sings back up on it) all over it...

But while it's easy to make fun of the same dude that released ultra corn like "One In A Million," I still don't think he gets enough credit as a groundbreaking musician who ushered in a new way and feel for playing bass...

That said, there are no JW Larry moments on AOA...
