Thanks for the props man. I definitely wanted to approach this differently than previous installments. The chops just fell into place immediately and I also thought they might be a little chaotic, but figured they were just below the threshold. Aw man, I despise flanging (I can't use chorus effects on anything) so definitely not going to tolerate any of that. I think one sample clashed with a drum sound so I scrapped it.

I think I could smooth the main line up if I put the snares, hihats and kicks on different tracks and eq'd them differently but wasn't in the mood for a project like that. But it meant I couldn't edit the volume of the "music" because it was linked to the drums, so I just let them all ride at their original volumes.

I thought about leaving off the vocal samples, because they obviously give away the sample source. If I end up using the beat for anything, I might replace the vocals with something from another source, but we'll see.

As usual, I appreciate you taking the time to listen and comment.
