I saw them on the Rid of Me tour (also at Detroit's infamous St. Andrew's Hall).

MAN...homegirl had me digging up some Howlin' Wolf like a mug.

I loved the dynamic between her and Rob Ellis (drums) and Steve Vaughn (bass) was tight as HELL. (I saw Nirvana on the Bleach tour a few years before and I think PJ BLEW THEM AWAY).

I just dig PJ as a writer, singer, musician and front woman though.

I was not so crazy about "To Bring You My Love Though", the rawness had grown into something else when we could have easily and happily accepted another raw trio record.

She's definitely a bright spot for me in the last 20 yrs.
