Aaliyah sure, but beyond that nah man.

record sales to me means nothing when your discussing production talent, etc.

I personally don't think most of his music aged well and have never been a fan of his work. To me the best Aaliyah were remixes. Ironically, and I will probably never admit this again in life anywhere, kellz may have the best one.

that's another story - but you are right if the option besides him is a House producer lol.. I mean the idea is laughable.

Prince exposed Timbaland like a true g. When Timbaland was complaining that people were stealing his sound (a sound mind you that had been matured in the UK long before a Timbaland ever did anything) Prince told him in an interview shout "you bad? change your sound then. I'm Prince, how many times have I changed mine?"

and he was right. It highlighted his limitations as a producer cause he's not a musician per se but a beat maker/producer.

But again if David Guetta is the other option - yeah Tim all day. lol
