I personally don't think most of his music aged well and have never been a fan of his work. To me the best Aaliyah were remixes. Ironically, and I will probably never admit this again in life anywhere, kellz may have the best one.

When Timbaland was complaining that people were stealing his sound (a sound mind you that had been matured in the UK long before a Timbaland ever did anything) Prince told him in an interview shout "you bad? change your sound then. I'm Prince, how many times have I changed mine?"

and he was right. It highlighted his limitations as a producer cause he's not a musician per se but a beat maker/producer.
