2780578, does anybody in here want to have ur song on WAX/vinyl? new project idea

ok. i've got an idea. i've always wanted to have some music on vinyl. pressed up, in the sleeve, with the album cover.

but.. shit is not cheap to do.

maybe you've wanted to have some shit on wax too. i want to have a physical piece of art to look back on. kind of like a trophy or a personal / family keepsake. on wax.

so i've been doing a little research, and i can help make our collective dreams become a reality.

this will require several things:

- a vision
- creativity
- songs from contributing artists
- a little bit of $$ from all participants
- trust & confidence

the ultimate goal would be to get a nice, 180gm 12" colored vinyl record pressed... , with a 2 color printed label put on both sides of the record... get the records inserted into an album sleeve.... and get that inserted into a full color album jacket.

i'd like to open this up to the frequent lesson collaborators, producers, and a couple of the underground artists who may have seen a bit of success from the site.

if we can have a pretty unified focus, and guys will come together, we can make this happen and we can all have a trophy to look back on. a family heirloom.

to whoever is interested, we would evenly distribute / send the records out to everyone who participated/contributed. it's that easy.

there also are some other ideas i have in mind in terms of having a free download card for tracks that are not on the actual album, and also plan to include a CD-R into the album jacket itself containing the album on CD + a few unheard songs or something along those lines.

this is a big idea. i encourage open dialog on this topic. i'd like to hear some feedback, and see if we can do something a little above and beyond in the first part of 2013.

there's 100 ways we can dice this up... but it really boils down to this:

there are 2 sides to the album.
