Israel wants the sympathy of Ukraine while carrying out the attitude and actions of Russia. You can’t have it both ways. A few things that would make them come out clean in this is
A) Release a generous portion of land to the Palestinians.
B) Pay reparations to the Palestinians
C) Concoct a scheme with the US/UK concerning Palestinians world-wide and have guilt free reign to annihilate them.

I can see them going with c).
