There will always be sides taken by people, but the way the news/soc med is in prayer mode for Israel is something not witnessed since 9/11, yet the lead up, the racism, the ethnocism, and all other mistreatment, bombings, killings of the Palestinians by Israel is nothing new, yet never a sense of remorse from the US news in over 7 decades.
