I only did it for about a five month period in my mid-20s, only spent money on it about half the time I did it, and walked away clean when the connect faded away.


Do I miss it? Sure. Did I plow through it whenever I had it like a goddamn German pointer in a field full of quail? Fuck yes. But did I ever want it when I couldn't have it, or spend my days thinking about how I could get more? No, and I can't say that about how I felt about weed back then, or certainly how I feel about alcohol now.


Coke was always a vice I could take or leave, but man did I make some good nights out of some plain situations when it was around.
