all of this controversy and confusion over a non-binding *resolution* with no real legal power or meaning...from a congresswoman who has only been on the job for 2 months...and that even the wind and solar industries dont support.

the fact aoc didnt seek support from the very industries who form the backbone of the plan (like dems did with healthcare and doctors, nurses, ama, etc) shows how halfcocked it is.

the green new deal has zero chance of passing in just about any congress. and it wouldnt actually do anything if it did pass. but it sounds just amazing enough to entice idealists and create a fracture between them and people who actually know how washington works.

even if you pass the green new deal...how are you gonna pass all of the corresponding agency rules, federal laws, state laws, etc that have to survive through multiple administrations and the flurries of court challenges?
