We keep him in sports and activities. Given his druthers he'd probably rather be online playing games, or watching YouTube videos of people playing video games.

Problem is...his peers are not as socially active. It's a chore to get him together with friends. I have to drive him places...set stuff up. When I was his age, I just walked out the door.

There's a little girl he digs in his art class. I asked him what's up with that, and whether he's talked to her. He said she has a boyfriend. I told him tough break, then he said, "He lives on Illinois (we live in the ATL)." "Oh, so he moved away?" "No, they've never met in person...just online."

What fresh Hell is this? Is that where we are now?
