13312751, Yooooo I listened to this earlier tonite driving home from dinner. Posted by Brew, Fri Feb-08-19 11:29 PM
Shit is HEAVY. Gotta give it a few more spins but, as usual it's dope, and Royce came correct. Lot to unpack lyrically so I gotta give it like 50 more spins to decipher it all. But of course I loved the overarching theme(s) and content.
Royce spent the past 10 years steadily climbing into my top 5 and goddamn is he making a case for like top 3. This dude has done nothing but get better.

13312992, Royce>Em was a hot take I used to have Posted by Marauder21, Mon Feb-11-19 03:36 PM
because I liked antagonizing the huge Em stans I knew in college.
The last decade, he more than passed Em and is carving out his own place in history. There's probably nobody who I'd rather hear a new album from in any given year.

13312998, Oh for sure. Posted by Brew, Mon Feb-11-19 03:45 PM

13312779, I agree - I think his flow has mimicked/has been inspired by Kenny ... Posted by Brew, Sat Feb-09-19 04:02 PM
... a LOT in his recent work.

13312997, stuff like this makes it hard for me to forget the Eminem Posted by Stadiq, Mon Feb-11-19 03:45 PM
connection.
Even when I WANT to forget about it, Royce seemingly makes an effort to remind me.
Other than that line, this was incredible though.

for not kneeling. I am generally irked by people telling other people they should mess with their money when they got no stake in the game.
