Audi A4 needed synthetic oil...
Pre kids I had plenty of free time and a strong "DIY is the only way" attitude....
Saturday afternoon figured I'd knock out that oil change real quick and save some loot at the stealership...

I pull out the jack and stands, jack the joint up, slide underneath and locate the oil plug...pull it out, and let the joint drain while I go off and knock out some yard work. I was feeling quite MANLY that day...

Came back 1/2hr later....
Pull the pan out...

Hmmmm.....thought oil was usually BLACK...the fck kinda oil they putting in Audi's????

Get on the googles...
Yada yada yada....

That wasn't an oil plug...
That was a transmission fluid plug....

FCK!

Trans fluid has to be put in via some weird machine that only the dealership has possession of.... :(

So....

Ended up having to pay for an oil change AND a transmission fluid fill AND a tow to the shop...
