Better for one's knees to jog on the blacktop than the sidewalk (tho dirt, grass, gravel or rubber track is MUCH better).

So many people walk in the street here in Philly that I've finally just accepted it as a thing and don't even get mad anymore.

It still infuriates me when people push strollers in the street, but that's not really irrational.
