especially audible ones. i keep my phone on vibrate or silent. the light is enough for me to see things in a timely manner. i think i used to leave it on vibrate until i got my smartwatch, now it stays on silent.

even with that i dislike getting notifications. it always seems as soon as i put my phone down a notification comes in. many times its something i dont care about (some opinion piece from google, nfl, yahoo, etc).

then theres work email notifications. really dislike getting a notification on my phone for work emails when at my desk with the email app open. dont know what could be done about that while still getting the notifications to come through when im not at my desk.

more annoyingly...coworkers windows notification dings. do you really need to hear each time you get an email??
