Then when Prince launched Paisley park records, he literally flooded the market with Mazarati. Jill Jones, Taja Sevelle, Tamara and the Seen, The Family, Brownmark...etc.

He did not have the golden touch...

But I think the biggest influence of the Minneapolis Sound was that it changed the sound of a ton of already established artists . More than spawn new bands, you started to see groups like Cameo and the Bar Kays start to change their sound and look to keep up with Prince.
