Like rap; Why is okay for Ice Cube to say something you wouldn't accept from a politician or a businessman?
Because of context, and who he is.
This is a stupid attempt to make comedy "fair and balanced" and also misses the fucking point. If someone isn't gay but the gay community accepts them and knows that aren't homophobic and then that person says something funny (or stupid) it isn't taken the same way as say if Trump said it. Trump words are meant to be hurtful - Amy Schumer's are not.
