I think he is a great role model. I am glad the black church isn't as flamboyant as it used to be. I hate the screaming hollering requirement to prove that you are religious.

In general, I notice treating mental health for black people is different. White mental health methods love to relive the past and have you talk endlessly about the same damn problems. The goal is to understand behavior. But if circumstances motivating the behavior don't change, then on cannot change their life easily (see poverty).


Black mental health is more instructive and forces you to move toward a definitive goal, despite the circumstances.
