I really respect that he is qualified and working in politics was his forte. He is emotional so he got a lot of screen time as a counter to Jeffrey Lord in the early post-nov8/16 world when he cried on air.. But then it all changed with Trumps first SOTU. "Today is the day Donald Trump become President of the United States" was not only a kickstarter for Megan Amram's twitter account, but also one of the saddest displays of political commentary I've ever seen.

His show is trash. His "let's just have a dialogue" shtick is admirable but so rarely interesting or thought-provoking. He's simply not interesting as a media personality.

Having said that, he elicits a response in people...so if he's happy, good for him. I just don't think he's very good at his current job.

The way Glenn Beck and co went after him when he worked for Obama was shady, and he absolutely got thrown under the bus through no fault of his own.
