People need help. Our shared humanity obligates us to provide it. Thinking the issue is more complex than this is self-serving, a subtle lie from the devil telling us there are many sides to basic human compassion.

There absolutely doesn't need to be rules or order in the immigration process. These borders aren't natural constructs; they're artificial ones. We decide where they go; what they represent; and how they function.
