It's especially terrible to weaponize her efforts to seek out information about her heritage.

I don't know Jamilah Lemieux and I am not a fan of the "black man is trash" trope, but I haven't seen anything produced by Tariq that shows her to be that. I could be wrong, I welcome the receipts.

However, even if that is the case, Tariq isn't attacking that, he is attacking her for having a light-skinned father who served in law enforcement and his deplorables are eating it up. SMH.

You're going to be roughly an even split of whatever your parents are, especially for any genetic material that's a large chunk of each if their make-up. So small stuff could disappear, like a sliver of Naruve American blood but major stuff thats at least 5% of their make-up? You're going to get roughly half of that.

*EDIT* Shes already said that her grandmother was white. So that takes a ton of the guesswork out of her father genetic story.
