Is this a worth while purchase folks? I reside in NYC, which means I'll probably use these for three to four months. Are these worth the investment? I'm thinking about getting Marathon Studded tires; are these good? If not, what are better studded tires?

These will be for my normal hybrid getting from point A to point B bike just so folks know; not a rugged mountain bicycle at all.
