but then again, the way that cop manhandled her off the rip is not ok under the circumstances

Girl struck me as how combative I was when I was in college ... too smart for her/my own good, talking slick like you're in control, etc. But still, the reaction by the cop to immediately get violent and threaten arrest was also doing too much. And for all we know the college girl was talking slick specifically *because* the cop was agitating an otherwise innocuous situation.

but she's not
cop was wrong as fuck but this girl didn't help the situation.
its amazing how hard it is to arrest a 120 pound woman.

College kids tend to have an air of superiority / invincibility, especially those who are well read (i.e. law school students like this girl) and/or Ivy League types ... and they think their brains can get them out of anything no matter how crazy they act. That's wrong no matter who you are and in this girl's case, as you rightly pointed out, her nationality only made her situation worse cause #cops.

Seems a weird thing to arrest someone for, sticking your head out of a sunroof. Why did the cops need her to get out of the car? Of course, she should have complied, but not for moral reasons, just self-preservation.
